Many things have happened today. Gd things and bad things.

Usual school... blah blah

Band today was very significant to me.
Why? ya ask? cos i'm now a french horner for SYF. Dr. Lee wants desperately ppl from the tpt. section to transfer to the horn section cos they are really short-handed... Well, tat set me thinking: since i was a horn player durin my sec 1 and 2 days, i volunteered. But many ppl objected, Jing Zhong, ppl from tpt section and it's bcos of one reason: i am the tpt SL. Yes, i am the tpt. SL, but so wat? I am doin this for the band, not for myself... The band isn't goin to get the gold if the band doesn't improve. Many sections have been improvin' at very fast rates like the clarinet section and maybe my own but the horn section really needs help. Suvenna isn't goin to play for SYF. Tat's a great blow to the whole band and esp. the french horn sect. We have abt 40 more pracs b4 SYF. Tat is not many pracs left. and not many ppl are able to convert to horn in a very short time. Even if they do, their sound will not be good. [sorry to many ppl but i am being straightfoward here] If i have the experience, why not? and i'm givin chances for other tpt. players to be in SYF cos i know many ppl join band for SYF. Not being able to join SYF is quite traumatising to many ppl includin me... so ya...

Taught Feline how to play 'To Zanarkand' today. Well not the whole thing but the first few bars. Recollection: 'To Zanarkand' is the second song that the OCIP ppl played durin the video presentation. She did quite well. =) Must JIA YOU!!!

Mrs Neo came back today. Had a celebration wif the cake Hwa Ee bought. When she entered the band room, i waved at her. My hand was so close to her face that she tot i was goin to hit her. Hahaz. Went back to LT 5 cos Feline wanted to revise the song.

Had sectionals after tt. that was when i volunteered to transfer. It was not a good feeling for the tpt. section, believe me. i had a harder time. Damnit! was close to tears but i fought...

After band, i sent Feline home. I told her something tt i felt tt i should tell her lot lots earlier. Regrets for not tellin her earlier, NO REGRETS for tellin her wat i told her tat nite. =) At least ya know now...
