ACJC Exchange!!!

woke up at 5 o'clock todae... cos meetin Zhi Mei at PR interchange at 7. Gave her mornin call to find out tt Michelle's at her place too... Shocked i was. Aniwaez, i called her again 15 min later... tt was when i left the house. Met Zhi Mei and Michelle at 7+. Went to macs to hav breakfast [i din eat... wasnt hungry]

reached school punctually... surprisingly... left the school towards ACJC in two buses [Zhi Mei sat beside me!!]
when we reached AC, we were greeted warmly by the students... man... their attitude is good. went for sectionals... i let Este conduct the sectionals [even when we agreed to take turns. lol] went for lunch at Holland V. Saw there wasnt enough time so we bougth BK and headed back while eatin.

Had combined wif Dr. Lee. Played All Pleasant Things first [dun wanna tok abt it... screwed the solo up :(], then Armenian Dances Pt. 1, and then Sostakovich's Concerto No. 5 [quite manageable i might say] Saw my senior Bozhong halfway thru Concerto! [din noe hes from AC] Had games afterwards. but it rained halfway while playin cap's ball. Then played another chair game [almost suffocated and almost succeeded]. At the end, Zhi Mei chased me all the way to the toilet, round the practice area until i was cornered [veri tiring]. I gave Este the present that Maz made for the AC trumpet people. She was quite delighted.

reached sch veri late... went to play LAN despite that 'lateness'. Played WC III but then it lagged so much so played CS halfway thru...

Todaes the last day of mah CIP at the day care centre... i must do a good job todae.

Reached the elderly care centre at 9 todae. Jackie, mah i/c, gave me a 'simple' job to do todae. She made me find out all the day care centres that are in operation in Singapore and i have to call each and everyone of them to ask 'bout a single matter: whether they wanna hav a sample of what courses Jackie's sch of healthcare is offerin for 2005!

So, i realli did tt till 6 [i finally finished]. clocked a total of 48.5 hrs. Kenneth got a Christmas present from Jackie... and i din hav one. HEARTBROKEN... but never mind... i never received anithin' for my b-dae or Christmas aniwae... [execpt for the chain tt Zhi Mei made for the section... smudged a bit but i appreciated it. Thanks Zhi Mei]

Cant wait for the ACJC X'change tomolo!

todae i am goin to dr. lee's house for some dvd-watchin...
sigh. supposed to go overseas wif my family todae. oh nvr mnd.

went to meet up wif kiong wee, eileen, sujin, and kwang liang and a few others at pavilion BK... kiong wee told me yesterday tt if i am goin to be late, i muz tell kenneth... in the end, i was realli late so i told ken. then he messaged me, tellin me that my sms woke him up! lol. thank God i smsed him... went to BK and wanted to wish eileen happy birthday... i stuck out my left hand and then she said i was rude coz its supposed to be the right hand. hmmm... went to popular to buy a $5.25 file [ex hor...]

reached dr. lee's house onli to find dr. lee's mum and niece there... dr. lee asked kw to buy chicken rice for him and 6 - 7 people [includin me] went along. went everywhere to find chicken rice... but there isn't any! Arrggghhh! finally found one stall near the polyclinic tt i hav been goin to do my CIP and we bought the last 3 packets! phew! went back to find tt the video screenin had started and dr. lee had to restart coz many of us missed the first part. Jason came in much later [as expected lol] watched two videos and took down many notes bout it. ate pizza for dinner [was it enough? hmm]

went to plae CS wif junwei, kenneth, daniel, sujin, kiongwee, julian until 9+. went home to find the house empty [family must be enjoyin at JB still... sigh...]

Today is christmas eve!! yay!!

todae i will be out the whole day... morn got band... and then my first christmas eve date in my entire damn life later

Sia la... Zhi Mei ask me meet her at pasir ris interchange at 2. So i left band at 1, onli to find out tt zhi mei juz woke up or sumthin and will be meetin me at 3... Haiz [always like tt one] reached pr interchange at 1.30... nothin to do... so i went to white sands to walk... bought $3 worth of sushi and watched i-robot at courts [one of the showcase TVs]. felt bored so i went to the bus interchange to wait for Zhi Mei... at 3.08, she messaged me she can't find her keys... ok, i tot to myself... still at home... sigh... finally met her at pr mrt control station much later...

went to spotlight in tampines cos she said she wanted to buy sumthin'. went to the box section... took so long to pick a golden box with flowery patterns on it. saw a veri big circular box and Zhi Mei put it on her head and i went to knock it. lol. [sorri there] went on to find i suitable ribbon to tie the box wif, onli to find not even one suitable colour... [kept askin for my opinion ~ my taste suck] went back to pick another box [a total of 3 trips made to the box section] but in the end we ended up wif a plain white cardboard box and a wire with red balls hangin frm it.

went back to pasir ris, plannin to go downtown to play and take neoprint. played at x-square first... i din wan to play soul calibur cos Zhi Mei is pRo at it [anihow jam the keys and then win]. picked some game tt we never played b4. its a 2 player game where we kill each other... started out wif the two of us runnin abt cos we din noe how to attack but soon enough i got the hang of it and started to whack Zhi Mei. lol. i won every single round tt we played. lol [Zhi Mei said i cheated... hmmmzzz]. went to the arcade, met my friend wilfred... was a scout in the past... played time crisis 2 wif Zhi Mei... the first time we played, she wasnt concentratin so she died earli... but the second time rite... wor! her score like twice of mine... haiz [i muz beat u somedae]

showed her the pics tt i washed from the second roll of film tt i used for the thailand trip and my b-dae... man, i shouldnt have put those two sets of photos together... my b-dae pics are like so embarrassin lo... i was lyin on the sofa imitatin some sleepin buddha... AAARRRGGGHHHH! Zhi Mei laughed so much [thanx veri much]. talked abt doin situps at home... told her bout a time i did 50 and i couldnt get up from bed cos my abs [do i even hav it?] were so achin from those situps tt i had to roll off my bed to land on the floor and i used the bed as my support to stand up... Zhi Mei gloated at me again todae cos i told her tt.

headed towards bukit batok to stay at my cousin's cos it has been a tradition since i was 7. when the train reached tanah merah, Zhi Mei said tt she reached home already [grrr... i still hav 1 hr of train journey to reach BB]. suddenly remembered tt we never took neoprint and then she blamed me cos i muz reach BB by 8.30 so muz leave earli [k lo... my fault la]. muz find another chance to take neoprint again.

Zhi Mei asked me to play hexic, some online game. she beat me again [well, i m a newbie...] will tok to Zhi Mei later in the night.

Todae woke up wif super aching legs... muz be all that soccer and walkin yesterday... felt like last time when i did 50... never mind...

remembered abt yesterday... have to go wif my parents and sis to appeal to other schools... first we went to st. hilda's. Actually, i feel tt the school is quite gd actually. From the bk and from the the way the school has arranged to greet the students comin in [quite well done] compared to my school in the past. went to TKSS later cos of appeal... went home after tt cos we couldnt buy the bks nor the uni.

went to pri alumni band todae. attendance was quite poor though. :( my junior danny came back todae [finally ~ he is super-pro]. played highlights from chess and the best of FFVII and songs tt we played the last time. i was made the co-ordinator for the trumpet section [why me?!?] incase u din noe... a co-ordinator is supposed to inform current alumni members of upcoming band pracs. gonna miss alumni band cos next band prac will be on 22 jan 2005. haiz...

Yay! me turn seventeen todae! So excited! Hmmmz...
Todae oso got band sia... 10 - 5. Told family not to celebrate birthday together cos of band... a bit sad though... since i woke up at 6 todae, i tot of goin to school earlier todae.

When i reached school, i saw LyNn and Zhi Mei in their former school shirts cycling. Said sumthin bout wanting to run 12 rounds but never did... Saw Jun Wei playin wif his fone and i suddenly wondered y he so early todae [he tot band started from 9 -1. heehee] Saw my junior from pri sch... name's Fabian. tot he appealing to Tp [his saxophone quite gd] but in actual fact he appealing OUT of Tp! wanted to go Mj he says... Heartbroken i was... din noe todae oso got people appealin' through band todae... Aniwae, sectionals started at 10 - put mazlinah to 2nd tpt, peiru to 3rd tpt, and cloe to 2nd cornet [all went well... ~well *ahem!* maybe...] went to KF for lunch [with Zhi Mei, Vickie, Sujin & Boon Hwee]

Todae i kena fine $3... 1 for bein late after lunch, and 2 for not coming in durin Armenian Dances. Sad case sia... dr lee kept sayin "shaddup" and then looked at LyNn. lol. Zhi Mei made sumthin for everyone... sumthin like a key chain wif ur nick and the word trumpees on it. It was quite neat [though onli mine had smudged ink... like thanks sia Zhi Mei.] Zhi Mei kept pesterin me to collect money for peiru's present cos she said she wanted money for Christmas. Towards the end of band prac, saw LyNn cryin in the band store... [wonder what happened and tot its best if i din noe...]

Played soccer with 8 other people... got chased by the auntie... went round the school one more time, started to play soccer onli to get chased away by the auntie. lol. Then the auntie followed us all the way to outside the school but managed to slip back in aniwaez... lol. played till 8+. Got kw angry cos i elbowed him [sorri, wasnt intentional :(]

Wanted to go home... but Zhi Mei insisted tt we go eat... So i did... Showed me the contents of Michelle's present to Zhi Mei for christmas. there was sumthin which i din see b4... asked Zhi Mei what it was, then she put it on her eye... i tot it was i eyelash cutter or sumthin. Then she told me it was an eyelash curler sia [what the... so embarassed] Went to eat sumwhere in pasir ris. Told her what was kong ba. and then walked all the way to the interchange when she suggested that we walk to her home then i take 15 from ther... i had no problem wif tt. So along the way, her socks were coming out so she asked me to hold the present while she adjusted her sock. i was a bit tired so i wanted to lean on the nearest thing i see... i saw a lamp post and i leant on it... SIA LAH!!! it was freakin' hot... Zhi Mei then gloated at me, laughin' while i got burnt [grrr... thanks ar]. saw bus 15 comin' so i bid her goodbye and chased after the bus.

i had the weirdest birthday celebration in my life... but b4 tt, todae is also the day my sis got the results of the posting of sec schools... she was posted to St. Hilda's and she was veri upset. she wanted to appeal, but when i asked her the reason for appealin', she just started cryin. So, i hav to follow her the next day to help out in the appeal. back to the celebration...The cake [its a strawberry cake] my mum made wasn't for me [i froze upon hearin tt] but my papz had the weirdest idea... cos the cake was meant for my father's colleague, my papz took out one strawberry, put in one candle and said tt this will be "my" cake [wth!] it was funni though... sang the song and i blew the candle and then my papz put that strawberry put it back on the cake. :)

What a eventful dae... Oh... Zhi Mei is a nice girl to gloat at me todae... lol.

Apologised to my mum early in the morn. She said she din remember a thing what happened... [Thnx mum.]

Yay! Band Prac is finally here! I have been longing for this day to come for ages! But alas, there is the 2nd audition for the sec 4s in the morn. Sigh... must wait till noon time.

Came to TPJC early in the morn. at 8.45, saw LyNn there in red national day tee and shorts. Sia la... Feline is supposed to go jogging with her in the morn. But she still in bed when LyNn called her... lol... Pang Seh LyNn ar! Tsk! Tsk! Haiz... The audition started with my junior from Marist band... a clarinetist called Simon (dun quite remember him... lol.) Wished him gd luck for the audition. Then a perc from TKSS (Chio Bu! - exclaimed Kenneth) came, followed by a horn player... and all this while, i am moping around in LT 5 playing ah ma's piano. Learned a song from Kiong Wee... quite nice... lol. Aaaarrrrggggghhhhh! prepared those scores for nothing. Had 2 cup noodles, 4 slices of tuna bread and one bowl of katsu-don for lunch. Not much though...

Band started with warm-up. then sectionals... played Armenian Dances P1 todae. Played March solo todae, onli to get critisized by Zhi Mei. I actually found out that i played it wrongly. lol. Reminded Zhi Mei abt DYNAMICA ~ *ahem!*. Then Limin surprised me by buying a cake for me, kenneth, and her B-dae!! So shocked lor... Limin and LyNn preparing the cake halfway then i saw the cake... Then they froze... lol. Sang Happy Birthday three times.. then nobody wanted to eat the cake. lol. me and kenneth had to look for people to give the cake to... lol.

Cloe asked me at night whether i will be goin to the BBQ on the 31st and whether i will be stayin overnight... Hmmmzz... have yet to ask my mum whether i can go... Hopefully she allows me to go and overnight too. [i told Cloe that i will be goin aniwae...]

Went back to Maris Stella todae... to check on how is the band doin... Sia la, i miss them so badly

The instant my juniors saw me, they screamed my name... My God! So Embarassing! Mr Lin (resident conductor) was there too... Talked abt last night's tj concert with those whu have went and tjose whu performed... Discussed abt what went wrong, what was gd. Went through Singapore Rhapsody and Vesuvius todae. My God! Singapore Rhapsody is one of the easiest set pieces i have seen since Singapure Suite [it is still the best]. Have yet to hear the JC version yet... [soon... soon...]

And Vesuvius... Haiz, dun wanna tok abt it. Its Marist band's choice piece and they still suck [no offence there]. I went to help out, trumpet section seemed hanging inbtwn life and death even with me there... sigh... wanted to teach the section oso got no chance. and i forgot to take the score home for me to practice and for LyNn [whu asked from me ages ago ~ sorry ah... will get it for u asap]

Quarrelled with my mum juz now... over some housekeeping matters. I regretted arguing wif her. She and my papz worked so hard to keep this family goin and i just cant shut my big mouth up juz because she scolded me over something that i did not good enough [~ sorry mumz! i will apologize to u somehow...]

Nothing much happened at the polyclinic today... After today i clocked 30 hrs of CIP. sigh... still got 50 more hrs to go... Muz JIA YOU! KAMBATE!

Went back to TPJC in the afternoon for the 1st audition for the sec 4s. Ate 1 1/2 cups of cup noodles. (LyNn stole the other half). and 1 paU (sponsored by Peiru). Rushed to photocopy score with Jing Zhong. Came back to find Suvenna and her friend waiting to be auditioned. My God, Suvenna lost her voice. She now sounds like some people living in Changi... lolx. Went to LT1 to play my trumpee with Julian, Kiong Wee, Jason, Sujin. Edwin and Limin were there too. Reached Top F today on my trumpee ~ a new record set! Then, onli one more person came for the audition. A saxophonist. Aaarrrggghhhh! i prepared all the scores for nothing! haiz... tsk tsk... hope some trumpees will come for the 2nd round on the 20th.

Went to TJC concert: Grafito at night. Saw many of my friends: people from TP band, Marsit band, Pri sch alumni band and Bach friends. Dun noe whu to sit with. lolx. The programme sheet is unique sia... They printed everything on a piece of paper and then crushed it and that was the programme sheet! I tot they handing out trash to everybody sia. The concert was a good one. Loo Kit is PRO man! wan me to reach his standard... a millenia siah. his brass ensemble played silent night, Loo Kit played solo at the begining. Sia la! He added an element of Jazz into it sia. His solo in Jap. Graf VII also ZAI!!

Went to have supper after Grafito at the hawker centre opp. Tj. Ate two rounds cos Kenneth ate so slowli...

Todae i woke up at 6a.m. , walked to the kitchen, opened the fridge and enjoyed the aircon [muz be crazy], went to bathe and change to my outing things... So excited!! Todae got many things to do!!

Went out at 8 a.m., heading towards Geylang Polyclinic to start on my third day of CIP, dragging my trumpee along... When i reached the elderly care center, the head gave me stuff to do instantly! We must followed a man in an ambulance to go around "collecting" old people from around the area. And i fell asleep in the ambulance! My God... i must not do that the next time round... Got back with 7 old folks, got them up to the center, and took their blood pressure and started chatting... went off for an early lunch at 11. ate finished at 11.30, walked back to the center and left the center, heading towards the thing i have been waiting for... Band Prac!!

Reached MBS [my pri sch] at 12.30, started band prac at 1. The sch organised this to do a recording.
